Evolving Women Conference is designed to transform the lives of women. It has been a tremendous event. Women have been mentally and spiritually empowered through the program. The conference which began in 2020 has made a far-reaching impact. in March 2020, the EWC took off with the theme, ‘Drop the water pot’. The women received a free medical check-up, the issue of domestic violence was addressed and free counseling opened for the women. Some of the women who are into petty trading received umbrellas to assist in their trade. It was power-packed and so timely. Shortly after the event coronavirus pandemic broke out and so many programs planned as a follow-up were halted. Regular markets were closed down. But the fortunate thing is, the women who got umbrellas could use the big umbrellas for petty trading on the roadside inside the streets and so they could survive.
